Week 27 Wrap Up
We had another exciting week at Colere Academy! As many of you saw on FB or Instagram some of the students found a few very interesting items when they were digging on the playground. We are hoping to get in touch with the Museum of Osteology to find out what kind of animal the teeth the students found!
During collaboration, we have begun a study of Oklahoma History that includes the ideas of perspective and bias. It has been interesting to see the students begin to understand how these two ideas can shape the way we understand history. We have planned a walking field trip to the Oklahoma History Museum in Guthrie for next Wednesday. Please see the upcoming events for information.
We have ordered the school t-shirts and hopefully they will arrive by next Thursday. We ordered a few extra in case you did not get your order in. The students are excited to walk in the parade and represent our school. We will also be handing out water bottles with our logo and information on them. If you can donate a case or two of water we would really appreciate it.
Please let us know if you will be attending the Bingo night and the 89er parade. We need to get a head count. Thank you.

Please let us know asap if your student will be returning next year.
April 14th: Oklahoma History Museum Field Trip (weather permitting)
We will walk to the Museum at 9:15. The students who go to Mass will meet us there.
After the museum we will take a short walking tour of Guthrie to learn more about the history of some of the buildings downtown.
ENTRY FEE FOR THE MUSEUM IS $4.00
*We will need at least 2 other adults to go with us. Please let us know if you are available.
April 16th: Bingo Family Night
We know that 89er days will be going on during this time, please plan on stopping by the school to eat dinner and play a few rounds of bingo before attending the carnival.
-6pm-8pm at the school
-concessions: hotdogs, walking tacos, etc.
April 17th: 89er Parade
Meet us by the Scottish Rite Temple by 11:45. Wear your Colere t-shirt and sunscreen!
3rd - Middle School
We will begin the next novel very soon. Please order a copy of the books your student will need so they will arrive before the 19th. If you did not receive the email with the book links and titles please let me know and I will resend it.
