Week 21 Wrap Up
What a week! We are looking forward to the start of a more "normal" week, hopefully.
Since only a few students were absent on Friday we were able to begin the MAP assessment and will continue into next week. So far a little over half of our families have signed up for conferences. If you have not done so, please take a few minutes to sign up. If none of the open slots will work please let us know. We can schedule a time later in the month. Sign up at the link below.
If you have not thought about next year, now is the time to start. During conference enrollment information for 21/22 will be given out and we are happy to answer any questions you may have. We are excited about the possibilities for our 2nd year!

3rd-MIddle School
After a week of remote learning I am that much more grateful that we have been able to have in-school learning this year. The students did a great job of keeping up with the work, but for long term nothing can compare to working with students in person.
The "Bigs" continued to practice multiplication and division, plus we worked on a few new concepts. We have done a lot of research type writing so this week we began a unit on creative writing. I am excited to see what they come up with. Since we already have our science units, reading comprehension and math through online platforms we were able to continue without missing a beat. The students were also able to continue working on their personal presentations, which they will present this week.
This week for collaboration we are beginning a unit on engineering, specifically bridge building. We have most of the materials we need, but if you have any cardboard tubes (paper towels, tp tubes) please send them our way. Thank you!
